country Pub

1 Melbourne Lane, Breedon on The Hill, Derby DE73 8AT

A Warm Welcome

The Holly Bush is a traditional country pub (Free House) dating back to the 16th century located in the heart of Breedon on the Hill. The low beamed ceiling, log burning fires and cosy seating areas boast a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We offer a relaxed dining experience with all food prepared from fresh ingredients handmade on site. Our bar holds 4 well kept cask ales and a selection of wines, ciders and spirits to suit everyones taste.

The village is dominated by Breedon Hill, the site of an Iron Age period hill fort which is now home to the distinctive local landmark church of St Mary and St Hardulph. There are lots of lovely walks around this area including a circular walk up to the church from the pub where you will be treated to an amazing view of the surrounding countryside.
